Our mobile instructors can provide your business with the convenience of training your drivers on your on premises. The benefit of onsite training is operators are trained in the environment and on the exact trucks that they work from day to day. Instructors are often able to point out safety considerations specific to the site during the training which helps drivers after the completion of the course. HSE Guidelines

Accidents involving forklifts occur frequently and often lead to serious injury so training is of paramount importance to reduce risk. Employers are legally obliged to train staff to use machinery safely as part of a company's health and safety policy and risk assessment. Failure to comply, especially when an accident prompts an HSE inspection, can lead to heavy fines and even custodial sentences. Section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work Act provides that it is the duty of employers to provide such information, instructions, training and supervision as is necessary. All forklift drivers should have written authorization specifying the type of lift truck they can drive and the duration of that authorization.
