Manual Handling courses

We provide human kinetics courses to train staff in safe manual handling techniques in line with EC Directive 90/269/EEC which obliges companies to provide suitable training in manual handling. These manual handling courses can be held onsite or at a Barloworld training centre and will help to significantly reduce the risk of injury caused by incorrect handling technique. Staff will learn about human kinetics, posture and techniques to help them be more productive, reduce stresses and strains on the body and reduce the potential for injury. Accordingly the HSE reports incorrect manual handling is a major cause of absenteeism from work due to back and neck related injuries so this short manual handling course could save businesses significant cost related to personal injury claims and lost working days.
