Barloworld provides a mobile tyre fitting service nationally. Our tyre fitting vans are equipped with a modern tyre press and full range of equipment enabling them to attend your site and fit replacements during times of fleet inactivity helping to minimize down time. Our professionally trained and knowledgeable forklift tyre fitters check the condition of your tyres and provide good advice and an efficient service. To ensure forklift tyres are replaced at the optimum time we offer annual tyre inspection programmes where our local fitter will visit the fleet to check on the condition of tyres and provide a detailed report recommending any replacements.

Choosing good quality tyres over budgets is recommended in many applications since they last longer, offer lower rolling resistance, and reduce fuel consumption, however, we offer great value budget tyres for low utilisation applications. Forklift tyre options
Forklift tyres are normally either pneumatic (air-filled) or solid (resilient or press on band). Pneumatic tyres particularly help absorb bumps and vibrations found on rough terrain. This provides increased comfort to the driver as well as reducing the risk of damage to the forklift and load. Solid tyres are better suited to indoor applications or where there is a high risk of tyre damage and puncture. Their construction offers reduced maintenance and low rolling efficiency on smooth surfaces. Certain tread compounds can maximise traction in cold store environments or be non-marking for use in operations that require extremely high levels of hygiene, such as food or chemical manufacturing operations. Anti-static tyre compounds are specified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres to prevent static ignition and other compounds are specified to reduce excessive heat build up which can make tyres slippery. Latest Continental technology
We provide the innovative Continental CSEasy rapid fit tyre option, an award winning design that can be fitted with just a torque wrench and has no need for a mounting press. The system dramatically reduces the amount of vehicle downtime involved in changing a fork truck tyre. The CSEasy also provides advanced technical properties that give it low rolling resistance and a 40% longer life than a standard Continental tyre.
