Barloworld and Hyster focus on service excellence
5/5/2009
Barloworld Handling has taken the decision to cancel plans to exhibit at IMHX2010, the UK’s materials handling exhibition, and invest the money in activities that directly benefit customers.
Although Barloworld has supported IMHX in the past it has decided in these difficult economic times the money is better spent on customer service systems and infrastructure. This investment in turn will ensure the company continues to deliver innovative solutions and service excellence.
As one of the UK’s leading lift truck organisations, Barloworld has previously had a significant presence at the show with its partner Hyster and had provisionally booked a 725m² stand for 2010.
Roger Massey, Marketing Projects Manager at Barloworld explains “We are sure that customers’ will understand and appreciate the significant investments that we are making in other areas of the business such as service and they will see this in the improved value added solutions we deliver”.
Barloworld and Hyster continue to have a strong partnership in the UK built on 50years of collaboration. Product and service solutions are fully tailored to the needs of customers in a wide range of industries and different applications.
